There’s heaven in mercy And hell in revenge. Let redress free, And forgive – Yourself as well. Vengeance is a boomerang; It’s murder twice-over. Pardon is joy – to both. Let go. Live. Forgive. © Abie Alexander Stepanavan, Armenia August
A Treasure Trove of Nihongo

‘He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother’ There is nothing more irritating than delayed baggage delivery at the destination with the carousel going in interminable circles with no sign of your bags even though they were tagged ‘Priority’, with the possible
Saroyan and a Haircut

While at university I had stumbled upon William Saroyan, the Armenian-American author, and immediately fell in love with his style of writing from the heart. Saroyan’s values resonated with my ideals during those formative years. “I do not believe in

Job Terminations and the Christian Conscience A little over two decades ago, as a new arrival in this country, I was walking to work one morning when I saw an unusual sight. A young lady was hurrying away, in the
Why Contesting Is A Good Thing
Why Contesting Is A Good Thing The topic of amateur radio contesting (also known as Radiosport in some countries) can be a contentious one with wildly divergent opinions. There are many (both newbies and Elmers) who think poorly of contests.
𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓 – 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒏!

This morning, I put off everything else that I had planned to do and, instead, watched President Carter’s funeral service broadcast live from the National Cathedral, Washington, DC. And what a moving experience it turned out to be! Brought me
